Emily started her casting career in New York working with Barbara McNamara on projects such as 30 Rock, The Daily Show and Colbert Report. She also was the casting associate for Rob Burnett and Jon Beckerman's film, The Greatest Movie Ever Made (working title). Recently, she worked with Emily Schweber, CSA on a number of independent films including A White Trash Christmas starring Beverly D'Angelo and Taryn Manning. She also worked on the reboot of "In Living Color" as well as the Demetri Martin animated pilot with Julie Ashton. Currently at Schiff/Audino Casting, she is working on the NBC pilot County as well You are Here (a feature), Mad Men and CW's Nikita.
Students will read one-on-one with a reader for Emily. Please prepare a 2-3 page scene from either film or television (and something not currently casting). Bring a highlighted copy of your scene for your reader as well along with YOUR HEADSHOT. You will read one-on-one with a reader and will also go on tape. If you'd like to bring a jump drive for your
material we'd be more than willing to give each student a quicktime otherwise we be happy to email it following the class via
yousendit.com for a charge of $5.00.
Please arrive promptly at 10:30am (*preferably earlier) so you will have
time to rehearse with your reader. The Q & A will begin promtly at 11am at Christinna Chauncey's On Camera Studio located at 3575 Cahuenga Blvd West Ste. 125 Los Angeles, Ca 90068 .
